Mechanical stresses are defined as those typically experienced by the product in both operating and non-operating environments. Operational mechanical stress relates to the breaking, bending, expanding, compressing, flexing, pulling and shaking the product during operation. Non-operational mechanical stress experienced during delivery, setup and storage are typically the worst mechanical stresses the product will see and must also be considered.
