Technical Requirements Table v2.0 Transition Process for Manufacturers
Transition Process for Manufacturers
Consistent with previous revisions to the Technical Requirements, manufacturers that wish to update a
product’s performance must follow the instructions below and select the appropriate process
depending on the product category and application type. As the transition from v1.7 to v2.0 occurs, the DLC will implement 2 grace periods to allow manufacturers to adjust to these changes. The grace
periods will be as follows:
1. Manufacturers can submit product applications under Technical Requirements v1.7 until
June 7th, 2013. Applications received after that date will only be evaluated under Technical
Requirements v2.0.
2. All products on the DLC QPL must meet Technical Requirements v2.0 as of January 1, 2014
(270 days after this announcement. Products that do not meet the v2.0 requirements at
that point will be removed from the active QPL and placed on the list of “Products No
Longer Qualified”.
DLC recognizes that many products have, or will be, updated to higher performance than
was demonstrated with the original submission. Determination of whether a given
product meets the v2.0 requirements will be based on the test information DLC has
received, as reflected on the QPL. Manufacturers may update the listing of their
products’ performance in accordance with the guidance below.
